Being one of the first cell phone manufacturers in the world is not just the reason why Nokia has quite an exceptional reputation. Nokia remains as one of the cell phone manufacturers that keep on producing high quality and hi-tech cell phones from time to time. In fact, when I first saw a mobile phone, it was a Nokia prepaid mobile phone. I was too naïve to understand the concept of cell phones and to me, cell phone meant Nokia and Nokia meant cell phone. In other words, I always referred to cell phone as Nokia, for instance when I saw my friend didn’t bring his mobile to work, I would say to him why he didn’t bring his Nokia, though his phone was Sony Ericsson. At least, that was my first impression of mobile phone world.
Well, at first I thought that it was just me until recently I met a few of my alma mater friends and acquaintances at a high school reunion. While catching up with them, including talking to the prom queen at the time, I have discovered few things in common that we all share. We all use cell phones (of course some of them are using smartphones and PDA) and ironically, we all share the same brand; Nokia. Almost 90% of those who attended the reunion are using Nokia mobile phones. And quite more interestingly, almost 75% are using Nokia prepaid. Why? I assume that we are all fond of Nokia products since it launched its products here in our country.
Nokia has managed to conquer Malaysia’s mobile phone market for quite some time after the launch. This could be due to the fact that Nokia aimed to produce mobiles that can be used not just by the riches but also for everyone. Though Nokia is originated from Finland, almost no one at the time knows about it as we all tended to believe that the phone comes from Asia countries. Some would say that the mobile came from China and some said the phone came from Japan. In fact, no one really knew during that time that Nokia perhaps has been playing a very large role in the Finland’s economy.
Do you like history? No? All right, let’s just take a brief one. Nokia has actually inherited its name from a river in Finland which they called Nokianvirta and it was founded by Fredrick Idestam. Became popular during Kari Kairamo period as Nokia’s CEO, Nokia continues its journey by producing more and more high quality cell phones. By 2007, Nokia had captured the heart of all Asian people with its phone’s qualities as well as its unique shapes. Furthermore, since Asian phone users are more exposed to prepaid concept, Nokia has the advantages since its phones are compatible with either postpaid or prepaid plans. Nokia has again won the game.
Of course I can go rambling and rambling on about Nokia and its history but that is not what we are going to discuss here. Today my interest is to take a look at these days phenomenon that is related to Nokia. We are going to take some time to look at how many phone carriers have collaborated with Nokia to produce arrays of prepaid plans that utilize Nokia’s cell phone. There are no doubts over what Nokia phone can do and how many companies have actually used Nokia for both contract-based plans and prepaid phone plans.
There are just so many prepaid carriers in the US and I have listed down their names here just for your own reference. If you think you know any that is not in the list, please feel free to contact me or leave your comment just below the post. I have to remind you though that this list does not necessarily mean that they have Nokia phones offered in one of their plans. I’m just listing them down so that in the future if I have any news about these prepaid companies, I will definitely refer it to this post from a new one.
Alltel Prepaid Company
AT&T Prepaid Carrier
Boost Mobile Company
Cingular (merged with AT&T in 2007 and is now part of AT&T brands…)
Cricket Prepaid Plans
Earth Tones
Jump Mobile Company
Kajeet Prepaid Carrier
Liberty Wireless Prepaid Company
Locus Prepaid
Metro PCS
Net10
02 Wireless Prepaid Company
Omni Prepaid
Page Plus Cellular
Simple Freedom Prepaid Carrier
STI Mobile Company
SunCom Wireless
Total Call Mobile
T-Mobile Prepaid
Tracfone Prepaid Carrier
US Cellular Prepaid
Venture Mobile
Verizon Wireless
Virgin Mobile USA
Xtreme Mobile
Ok, all these prepaid companies are arranged alphabetically for reference purposes. If I manage to get my hands on any news about any of these companies, I will link it from the name to the new post.
Let’s take a look at the first carrier which is Alltel. Alltel does not have Nokia phones offered in its list but as far as I’m concerned, they have other brands such as Motorola, LG, HTC, and also Blackberry cell phones. Alltel itself is a reputable and has earned quite a lot of recognitions and it is worth to talk about the company soon in the future. Their prepaid plans are worth to consider too we are not going to go deeper about it yet. But they have three different basic prepaid plans; pay-per-minute, pay-per-day, and pay-per-month plan. Pay-per-month starts from $29.99 per month where you can have up to 700 minutes airtime (accumulated minutes you speak on the phone). Their popular plan at this moment is pay-per-day plan where the plan starts from 75 cents per day.
AT&T on the other hand does not need an introduction. Almost everyone knows who AT&T is. Since its merge with Cingular, AT&T could be considered as the country’s number one cell phone service provider. This Atlanta prepaid company has managed to design a great flexible prepaid plan and some of their plans are much better than other prepaid plans offered by other providers. However, their rates are considered pretty higher than other prepaid services from other companies. In other word, you should consider AT&T if you prefer to have branded names but if you are not, then you should consider other prepaid service providers as well.
How about Kajeet Prepaid? Who is Kajeet by the way? Kajeet is a prepaid company that is based in Maryland and dedicated to provide cell phones that are suitable for kids. To Kajeet, kids are intelligent and therefore they should be provided with the right cell phones. Since Kajeet believes that prepaid plans are suitable to be provided to kids, their plans are all prepaid which means you won’t find any contract plans in their offers.
Kajeet prepaid has a range of prepaid plans that are attractive yet affordable by anyone. With only $4.99 per month, I assume that this amount is affordable by almost anyone especially kids. Parents are welcome to subscribe to any of Kajeet’s prepaid plans for their children. I heard that Kajeet offers Nokia 6151 for one of their prepaid plans. The Nokia 6151 is a not-that-pretty cell phone yet it is a good cell phone. the Nokia 6151 does support 3G at 384 kilo bytes per second (kbps) and all other data connections such as GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Bluetooth, infrared, and also USB 2.0 connection.
For messaging purposed, the Nokia 6151 prepaid cell phone can be used for SMS, MMS, email, and instant messaging (IM). Oh yes the Nokia 6151 does have a camera which is 1.3 mega pixel. This cell phone could be considered as a tough mobile since many has claimed before that they had accidentally dropped the phone many times yet the phone continues to perform without any interruption. In other words, the Nokia 6151 prepaid cell phone from Kajeet is a superb cell phone and I really do recommend the phone for your children. Not just for them though, even I myself would buy the phone since the mobile is a great cell phone. oh yes, another thing is you can get up to 3000 free text messages from Kajeet if you purchase any of its prepaid plans.
There are a number of benefits when you use Kajeet cell phones. When you purchase any of its prepaid plans, you will be given a time manager or contact manager settings where you could block few numbers that are not supposed to be called by children, if you know what I mean. These numbers include (but not exhaustive) 911 and also 900 numbers. All these numbers can be blocked to avoid your children from calling them. However, one thing about prepaid plans that I don’t like is when they charge you for both sending and receiving text messages. I can see the reasons behind charging us when we text someone but I don’t see any reason at all why should we be charged for receiving the messages. No matter how low the cost is, I see that as too ridicule to be accepted. Yet, I’m happy enough now since in my area no one is charging your for receiving a text message!
I have already mentioned before that Cingular has merged with AT&T and therefore all of its products are now under AT&T brand. Yet, Cingular does offer Nokia phones on few of its prepaid plans. One of the phones is Nokia 6085. The cell phone is a camera phone and it is a flip type cell phone. Nokia 6085 does not support 3G and HSCSD but it does support Bluetooth data connection as well as USB 2.0. The camera is VGA (unfortunately) and you may capture up to 640 by 480 pixel images with it. It can be used for video capturing as well but I doubt that the video would be a clear crystal one.
Fortunately, the Nokia 6085 prepaid cell phone supports all popular media playback for music; polyphonic, AAC, and also MP3. That’s why the cell phone has a built-in slot for you to slide in your own microSD memory card up to two gigabytes. The Nokia 6085 prepaid cell phone’s talk time is up to 5 hours and standby time could last up to ten days. If you don’t have a memory card, don’t be too worry about it since the cell phone has an internal memory up to 4 MB. The mobile is quite light where it is only weigh 84 grams and its dimension is 92mm by 46mm by 23mm. If you are not that savvy or you are not really into mobile, then this Nokia 6085 prepaid from AT&T is definitely a smart choice.
When it comes to T-Mobile, I am always fascinated with its prepaid plans. But since our discussion evolves around Nokia phones, then I have to restrict my selections to only plans with Nokia phones. However, I’m not sure why they don’t have much sophisticated Nokia mobile phones in their store. One of the phones is Nokia 1208. The Nokia 1208 is a simple and basic cell phone yet it is good enough for anyone who believes that cell phone should only serves two purposes; make and receive calls, and texting. This phone from Nokia is just suitable for these audiences and if you want to get this phone from T-Mobile, just choose any of their prepaid plans. The phone’s specification is not that glamorous like any other Nokia mobile phones.
Let’s continue our journey. Virgin mobile is also one of those phone service carriers that do not need an introduction. It is an established company and Virgin mobile is recognized all over the United States though it is originated from the United Kingdom. Virgin Mobile has also expanded its services to prepaid service by introducing an array of prepaid plans that are competitive. Two types of prepaid plans are available to be chosen and they are pay-per-month prepaid plan and another one is pay-per-minute prepaid plan.
That’s all for now. I will continue with other prepaid companies in my next posts. As for now, I believe that I have made my points to show you that Nokia is a great mobile phone and there is no doubt why the cel phone is popular for both contract plan and prepaid plan.

Switch to Digi Mobile Plan Online
advantages of using Digi Mobile Phone Plan
It has been a couple of months now since the new government implementation of mobile number portability (MNP) has taken place in our country. Yet many of us are still in doubt about changing or switching to other port servers like Digi or Celcom. Why? Because we do not have enough information about how this new system will affect our usage of mobile phones in our daily life. We are not so sure whether it’s a good thing to switch or not. We have no idea that the new ruling is actually going to benefits all of us. Allow me to discuss about this and we will run some comparison between networks in terms of their advantages and their disadvantages.
Introduction should be made first about mobile number portability since I assume at least 60% of us still need to be enlightened. This so-called implementation is not something new in the UK and some other countries. It is an opportunity given to any mobile phone user to opt to switch to other server or carrier without losing his or her current mobile phone number. For instance, if you are now using Maxis Hotlink with 017 prefix numbers, you have the chance to switch to another carrier such as digi and as you all know that digi’s prefix is 016, you can still retain your mobile phone 017 number though the ownership of the service now belongs to digi.
A brief pre-launch was run for few prepaid mobile phone numbers in Klang Valley and selected phone service providers centers and then it went live on the October 15th. There is actually a central clearing house system involved to implement MNP and therefore there is a fee of RM25 to be charged.
Why switch now when I already have a long good relationship with my current mobile phone service provider? Well if that was your first question, then my answer is simple. It’s easy and it costs you nothing. The latest development is still too new to Malaysian and therefore all the service providers have taken the initiative to absorb the registration and switching fees. Furthermore, most of them have promised us that the transition wouldn’t cause any service interruptions.
In fact, you can always switch your mobile phone plan online without having to queue at the counters and waiting for your turn to be called. This convenience service is currently being offered by yellow digi that claimed that they will deliver the SIM package to our home address if we choose to switch to digi online. I consider that as a superb service from digi beyond our expectation, don’t you think so?
All right let us take a look at why you should transfer your mobile phone number to digi. I am going to say all these in general first without referring to other available mobile service providers since I think it is best if I post a separate article on this. Believe me, this is going to be a long one for you to absorb so get ready to read all my nonsense ramblings here lol.
Switching to Digi is a breeze and once you have installed your digi SIM card into your mobile phones, you should start to realize that you will actually save more of your money when you use Digi. Yes this is true since you can enjoy more savings of your calls usage as well as SMS without any conditions since Digi has kindly offered the service to everyone. Either you choose prepaid mobile phone plan or standard contract-based mobile phone plan, you will still save more than other mobile phone service providers.
How is that possible? Well with Digi you will enjoy the lowest flat rates for all calls nationwide. The rate is also cheaper when you use SMS or Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). The best part is the rate is also applicable when you call someone that is using other networks such as Maxis Hotlink or Celcom Malaysia. If I choose to switch, then in my humble opinion this is going to make me easier to communicate with anyone on any network. I’ll be more than happy to contact anyone and still enjoy the lowest call rate ever.
As you all know Digi’s famous value-added service is its Friends and Family. When you activate this service from Digi, you will have more time to communicate to your close friends and families. The call rates are even lower with this value-added service and eventually this would lead to more healthy and quality communication with your BFF or your family. Mind you though that this wonderful feature from Digi however is only applicable if both numbers subscribe to Digi. It does not matter if your number is 017 and your girlfriend’s number is 018 as long as both have been switched to Digi.
Digi Malaysia may not be the major player in mobile phone service industry here in Malaysia but in terms of continuous exceptional services, they should be voted as the best one. Digi has always been the innovative market leader with introductions of flat call rates not just to within the network but also to all other networks. The yellow guy you always see in tv as well as in papers are actually symbolizing the uniqueness of Digi and how it always strive to serve its customers better.
Another good thing about switching to Digi is their transparent policy on their fees. No hidden fees are charged without our consent. Speaking about this, I think this is almost true for some people that are using contract-based plans with other networks. they were always charged ridiculously without them even knowing about why they were charged. I’m not sure why this is possible and if I may put my two cents in, only here, in our country, that companies can get away with scam like this.
Now how about rewards? I used to talk about Maxis Hotlink rewards. How about Digi? Does it have any kind of rewards to be granted to its loyal users? Sure it does and I believe it is even more and even better. Anything and everything you spend with Digi is always rewarded such as monthly surprises, birthday bonuses and even free insurance coverage. Those are just some of them and there are still other surprises and rewards that you will receive when you switch to Digi online.
Do you know that Digi provides its users free around the clock support? Yes it does and it is good to know that Digi’s customer care center can always be called and their representatives are more than capable to assist you with your issues. Furthermore, Digi has also introduced a chat service where you can have a chat online with its customer service representatives anytime of the day, seven days a week. Again, it’s free.
Anyone in this world would be much happier if we were given a chance to be in control of anything. Well, Digi realized this nature and therefore they are giving us full control of what we spend and how we spend at all times when we switch to Digi. For example, you may pick your own preferences when it comes to bill statement date or maybe you opt to get immediate usage updates through e-billing (yes they have this service). With digi, you can also enjoy free automatic credit alerts so you know exactly how much credit balance you still have in your mobile phone. Even the grace period is quite generous compared to other network’s plans and you can always keep your mobile phone plan active with automatic bill payments.
‘I will follow you….everywhere you go…’ a line of the song that we hear it almost everyday everywhere. In fact the song has been haunting me for quite some time lol. I mentioned before that Digi strives hard to ensure it can provide better service for its clients. There are currently eight thousands Digi outlets nationwide to serve its clients. The reception has also improved from time to time in other words you can now count on Digi’s widest data coverage in the country. No worries if you always travel abroad as Digi has international roaming coverage in over one hundred and sixty countries around the world and they are planning to add more.
In short, Digi is making things easier for us every day if we choose to switch to any of Digi plans online. Let’s go deeper now into Digi’s mobile phone plans. Digi is offering both prepaid mobile phone service plans as well as the standard post-paid plans. Several packages available in each of the plans and we will take some time to ramble more about it in our future post. For now, let us check out the Digi post-paid mobile phone plan benefits and advantages.
Digi’s post-paid plans offer you the simplest price plans and each one of them has been designed to suit your needs. All of the plans in Digi’s post-paid mobile phone service share the same unbeatable service; flat call rates nationwide. It is such a nuisance when I have to think who is on which service provider and actually when the new mobile number portability implementation has taken place, it makes things even worse. Thanks to Digi, it is a pleasure when I don’t have to think abut this anymore since the call rates are the same for all port servers.
When it comes to switching the mobile phone service provider and still retain the mobile phone number, Digi could be the easiest one to sign-up with. Well first of all you can register and get your moble phone plan to be switched online and then just for your information, Digi does not charge you any deposits or up-front payments when you switch to their services, without incurring any cost. In other words, Digi is absorbing the fees at this moment and that is actually a relief for many people.
No, I will never change to Digi, unless they give me free perks! Aha, this is perhaps one of the best options provided by Digi for other networks’ users. When you sign-up a contract-based plan with Digi, you deserve to obtain a free mobile phone (hey don't expect too much you won't get a nokia N96 mobile phone) as well as amazing free calls and SMS. Check out their site to see which plan has this unique offer.
Now we are going to look into the benefits of using Digi’s prepaid mobile phone plans. Digi has been promoting its 1 low flat rate of 36 cents for calls nationwide for quite some time. Furthermore, just like Maxis Hotlink prepaid mobile phone plan or Celcom Blue prepaid mobile phone plan, Digi’s prepaid plan also has the value-added service where you can register up to eleven Digi’s numbers to enjoy lowest call rates and SMS rates whenever you call these eleven numbers.
Oh yes there is one special promotion from Digi when you switch from your prepaid mobile phone plan to Digi prepaid mobile plan. You may enjoy free one year validity as well as the flat rate for calls will be activated immediately with zero conditions. There are three different options when you choose Digi prepaid mobile plan; Digi Super FnF, Digi Super SMS and also Digi Super Talk. You can easily switch between all these plans anytime and you may also enjoy free activation.
Ok everything that I have mentioned so far above are just part of the fringe benefits that you will receive when you decide to switch from your mobile carrier to Digi. Lots and lots of rewards are available along the way when you join Digi. Simply say, I have come to conclusion that Digi for the time being is the best mobile phone plan service especially in terms of money saving and coverage.
Hold yourself tight for the next post because we will continue rambling more about switching to Digi and why is it good to try switching the port server. However, I would like to remind you that all of the information that I have provided here is just based on my research and therefore you may contact me if you find any flaws in this post.
Have a good weekend guys!

Nokia N96 Prepaid Mobile Phone

Though by now most of you have already known about the latest development from Nokia which is the what-is-so-good-about-mobile computer Nokia N97, it is always good to take a second look at Nokia’s other previous mobile phones. Nokia has made a groundbreaking achievement in the mobile phone industry when it first introduced its N-series smart mobile phones. These series of cell phones are convergence mobile devices supporting digital multimedia services such as music playback, video capture, photography, mobile gaming and Internet services. Just for your information, all N-series prepaid mobile phones support at least one high-speed wireless technology, such as 3G, or wireless local area network.
The Nokia Nseries is aimed at users looking to pack as many features as possible into one device. The better-than-average cameras often found on Nseries devices are one such example, as are the video and music playback and photo viewing capabilities of these devices, which resemble those of standalone portable media devices. Later in the future we will take some time to review Nokia’s new touch prepaid mobile phone called Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which is packed with “Comes with Music”, the Nokia’s fabulous service which offers one year of unlimited access to the entire Nokia Music Store catalogue. Mind you though that this Nokia 5800 is not part of N-series mobile phones.
Today we are going to take a long walk as we will be talking about the previous Nokia prepaid mobile phone, Nokia N96. Still new though, and therefore I think it is still worth to ramble about the mobile phone features. For some, the mobile phone may be too expensive. However I believe the price of the Nokia N96 mobile phone sooner or later will drop significantly once the brand new Nokia N97 mobile phones have dominated the market.
Before we go to our discussion, I have some updates on the firmware of this fantastic Nokia N96 mobile phone. Here is some updates on the Nokia N96’s firmware, the latest update of firmware v12.043 can be downloaded using the prepaid mobile phone itself by typing in *#0000# on the standby screen and then press Options, Check for Updates. You can also download the latest firmware using the Nokia Software Updater. As usual, it is best to first back up all of your data before updating in the case that the process erase everything but as far as I am concern, the mobile phone is equipped with user data protection system which is activated all the time. It shouldn’t be a problem then but it is always a good habit to always play the games safely. It is not that difficult to first save everything you already have right? Check out some of the improvements of this new firmware update in one of this article’s last paragraphs.
When the N95 mobile phone was first launched it was a prime instance of how far and innovative mobile phones have become. So when the N96 mobile phone was first announced, you would of course expect the same quantum leap you would expect from an update of the N95 mobile phone. The N96 mobile phone though coming with some pretty new features is not as groundbreaking as I expected it to be though. However, like the Apple iPhone 3G and HTC Touch Pro, incremental changes is not always a bad thing, so in looking for why the Nokia N96 mobile phone makes purchasing sense, we firstly need to look at the need for cosmetic alterations.
Let us remember that the N95 mobile phone was a big tool even for its day, and as such, the first thing you will realize about the new Nokia N96 mobile phone is the fact that it is slimmer than its predecessor. While raw numbers do not necessarily reflect anything worth writing home about, it is certainly a far more comfortable experience as you carry the device in your pocket.
A smooth shiny surface now adorns the unit and despite its affinity for fingerprints, it has to be said that the Nokia N96 mobile phone does look expensive. Yes it is going to look really cool when you use the prepaid mobile phone to call India. A redesigned slider means that it feels far more solid to the touch, but what came along with all of this are redesigned buttons. Since the buttons are now flushed against its surrounding surface, for some, it will be difficult to be able to tell individual keys apart via touch. I personally had errors during text composition and navigation due to the Nokia N96 mobile phone’s flushed keys. There is also the addition of a nifty kick stand at the rear of the device close to 45 degrees upright.
A combination of a freshly revised operating system as well as a digital TV tuner pretty much rounds up the new key features of this brand new Nokia N96 mobile phone. The mobile phone is among Nokia’s first few to feature Symbian 60 Feature Pack 2, and to anyone who is new to this feature, Feature Pack 2 offers a wide berth of improvements, including a revised calendar viewing mode as well as a spiffy new standby screen. While there are many improvements even Symbian 60 veterans would appreciate, I felt that the Nokia N96 mobile phone’s hardware does not scale performance well with this new operating system.
I found recurring stability and speed issues with the Nokia N96 mobile phone, and tasks where equivalent N-series devices would not break a sweat over would take a second or two longer to execute on this new Nokia N96 mobile phone. While this is not in itself an end of the world scenario, there is certainly need for further optimizations in getting the device to be as zippy and compliant as the rest of its N-series siblings.
However considering that similar issues did plague the old Nokia N95 mobile phone when it was first launched, I am pretty sure that with subsequent updates in firmware (see updates on this below), the Nokia N96 mobile phone will be able to weather some of these early issues in due time.
The Nokia N96 mobile phone comes with DVB-H tuner and it is not exactly a feature we Malaysians will be really looking at since the only way for Malaysians to be able to enjoy watching digital TV locally is to obtain a 018 service.
Another key difference is the fact that the Nokia N96 mobile phone’s stereo speakers are now placed along the right side of the mobile phone in order to capitalize on the device’s landscape orientation, particularly when used in conjunction with the rear kickstand. This makes sense aesthetically, although volume intensity seems to be a notch lower than the Nokia N95 mobile phone’s, but it still works well when used in conjunction with an in-car GPS placeholder, as the speakers would be aimed towards the driver, making sensible for right-hand drive markets.
The Nokia N96 mobile phone expectedly carries on the tradition of being a great overall device, and performs admirably with regards to call quality. There is no discernable difference between Nokia N96 mobile phone and that of the N95 mobile phone in terms of their camera performances, and some might find the dual LED camera light and video light useful. The brevity of having 16 Gigabytes of internal storage is also a difficult feature to ignore on this prepaid mobile phone.
What was a concern with the original Nokia N95 mobile phone version 1 device when it made its debut is now again a concern with the Nokia N96 mobile phone; as the 950mAh battery makes its return. While we can certainly understand the complexity of having to juggle between mobile phone size and physical battery size, I found it perplexing that the Nokia N96 mobile phone would come with a smaller capacity power unit as compared to the Nokia N95 mobile phone 8 gigabytes. This is after all coming from a mobile phone which has a digital TV tuner built-in, and we would certainly expect battery capacity to conform to the additional features.
In the weeks of testing, the Nokia N96 mobile phone is certainly capable of sustaining more than a day of life under moderate usage, but once interaction becomes heavier, recharging will again become a daily affair. It should be noted that the device does bundle an in-car charger, which will greatly aid in sustaining longevity outdoors. Regardless, I still felt that Nokia could have at least bundled a higher capacity to go with the Nokia N96 mobile phone.
To some people the Nokia N96 mobile phone might look as a repackaged Nokia N95 mobile phone with DVB-H and nicer styling, but to most cynics, it ought to be noted that most of its improvements is not just skin deep. There are many improvements under Feature Pack 2 makes the Nokia N96 mobile phone worth revisiting as productivity and multimedia mobile phone. As the spiritual successor to the Nokia N95 mobile phone duo, the Nokia N96 mobile phone is arguably the best of both, but there is one hefty issue that will likely concern you in considering how worthy it is the Nokia N96 mobile phone; the enormity of its price tag.
With the Nokia N95 mobile phone 8 gigabytes still in the market and costing significantly less than the Nokia N96 mobile phone, you do have the option of getting that instead of the brand new Nokia N96 mobile phone should you want an all round media mobile phone of that class. Ultimately, the Nokia N96 mobile phone is itself a strong presentation of how far the N-series has evolved and there is no denying that the Nokia N96 mobile phone represents the holy grail of Nokia’s high-end offering.
The price for this brand new Nokia N96 mobile phone is around USD1000 nowadays and the pack includes the mobile phone, battery, stylus, headset, phone charger, USB cable, car charger, installation CD and also the manual. The mobile phone supports GSM850, 900, 1800, 1900, and also UMTS 2100/900. The phone size is 103x55x18mm and weighs around 125g. This mobile phone is using ARM9 264Mhz processor with 240x320 pixels 2.8 inch screen.
The Nokia N96 mobile phone also supports GPRS, WAP, and EDGE as well as Bluetooth. The camera is exceptionally great as it is 5 mega pixels with auto focus. With the use of additional memory card (microSD) up to 32 gigabytes, you just can’t resist the lust to get this mobile phone as yours.
Now let’s go back to the firmware updates. One of the updates is still image quality has been improved, with fixes for color haziness and motion blur that appeared under certain conditions. There are also fixation had been made to the whole system to avoid the Nokia N97 mobile phones from various factors of crashes. Thank god that now the new update has also avoid the mobile phone from being locked automatically while we watch videos.
Now I can fairly say this not-so-new Nokia N96 mobile phone has all the great features packed into one device. Compared to the previous other mobile phones, the features compiled on this phone are space-age and really are cool. Still, it is best to first check out other mobile phones before you decide to buy one. Be wise, look wise, and spend wisely.
Cheers.

T-Mobile Prepaid Mobile Phone Credit Balance
Sorry guys but I have to post this one first before I fulfill my promise soon to give some unbiased review about T-Mobile G1 Android in my last review about Nokia N97 is coming to the United States. This time I'll just want to help you guys on how you can check your t-mobile prepaid credit balance since I recently discovered that a lot of people are quite confused about this. They have been trying to search and somehow got themselves here. So as a good Samaritan (ehem!ehem!) who has high social responsibility, I think I should post a short one for you guys especially when I know that prepaid plan is drastically gaining its popularity in the UK and in the US. Not to confuse you or anything, but actually it is quite simple on how you can check your t-mobile prepaid credit balance.
So if you are a t-mobile prepaid plan user, I am glad to inform you that it is not that difficult to find how many minutes or credit balance you have left on your prepaid t-mobile account. Nokia N97 Prepaid Mobile Phone - Review

The latest buzz in mobile phones industry would be the so-called Nokia N97 which is expected to be launched anytime from this post is created. Nokia company has recently unveiled this new mobile-computer phone I can’t help myself but I want to share my view on the mobile phone too with you guys. Before we go any further into our discussion, let’s read the news first before we go deeper into the mobile phone itself. This one is actually extracted from Business Standard news. If this is true and if the mobile phone ever reach the United States market, I guess other mobile phones like i-Phone from Apple and T-Mobile from Research in Motion (RIM) would have to face the greatest challenge ever from Nokia since the phone is said to have embedded outstanding features from both mobile phones. Read on.
Nokia, the world's largest cellular phone maker, today said it expects the internet to drive sales in the next round of global mobile revolution and launched a high-end smart phone N97 and a few Web-based services, including maps and messaging, under the umbrella brand Ovi.
"We will redefine the internet and bring it to the masses. As much as 75 per cent of the world's population has not used the e-mail. Many of these people will have their first e-mail experience on a mobile phone, not on a personal computer," Nokia President and CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said addressing the 14th Nokia World 2008 here.
"Mail on Ovi, together with Nokia messaging services, which offers consumers e-mail and instant messaging, brings mobile e-mail to everyone," he said.
Even with so much focus on internet, Nokia is not keen on any big-ticket acquisition to have a stronger presence.
Replying to a query if Nokia would make a bid for global internet company Yahoo!, Pekka said: "We will redefine the internet without making an attempt in that direction."
Kallasvuo while pointing out that no one can escape the current global financial crisis, however, declined to comment on the company's outlook.
Nokia N97, the latest N-series smart phone from the company, is priced at euro 550 (Rs 36,300). It will be available globally from April next year, he said.
When asked about the high price of N97 model, Pekka said Nokia's XpressMusic 5800 phone (Rs 20,000) was well received in India despite being a music-oriented phone.
Wow! Now how about we take a closer look at the N97 mobile phone images down here.

You know what I think is this is just one of Nokia’s smart marketing strategies where before it even launch the product, they leaks out few information to create the buzz first so the moment the product is available on the market, it will instantly become the bestseller. By the way this Nokia N97 high-end mobile phone has been officially announced at the annual Nokia World event in Barcelona, Spain. It is said to be available in Europe market by mid-2009.
Now the front part is slightly chubbier than iPhone probably because it houses the QWERTY keyboard. Since the day Nokia introduced its first touch-based model, they have been using their own operating system which is Symbian 9.5. As you all may have already known, all Nokia N-series mobile phones are packed with internal memory, processing power, multiple sensors and also connection speeds. This one is better since it has integrated A-GPS (assisted Global Positioning System) sensors as well as smart electronic compass. These are all useful utilities for those who has “second identity” in the internet world and also for those who love to share their social location. In short, friends can virtually be updated with real-time information of your where about.
Unlike its previous phone N96 which is a cutting-edge mobile phone, the Nokia N97 mobile phone is described as the world's most advanced mobile computer. This new mobile phone will not just trigger knee-jerk hysteria, but instead it should breed cool-headed excitement at the prospect of a new era of mobile experience. I can almost see the change in minds of our kids and even among us of what we want as a Christmas gift. Would it be iPhone or Nokia N97 mobile phone? It has been purported that the mobile phone or "mobile-computer" will be around 550 euros.
Let’s take a look into this Nokia N97 storage. It’s 48 Gigabytes my fellow friends! Now how massive is that. This includes 32 Gigabytes of on-board memory which can be expanded to 16 Gigabytes microSD memory card, mainly for music, videos, and other media. Just for your information, Sandisk had recently announced their 16 Gigabytes microSD memory card. From all these developments, I just cannot deny that one day mobile phone could be a trendy lifestyle. You can have almost everything you want on a mobile phone; name it from calling anyone, texting (SMS), listening to your favorite music and songs, watching video clips and movies, watching online television programs, online bookings, reading your favorite blogs, googling, taking high quality pictures, and so on.
The Nokia N97 mobile phone is also equipped with five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. If I ever happen to own this model, I believe I will just sell my digital camera which is only 3.0 megapixel. So I can just carry my mobile phone everywhere and take any picture I want. Hey I can even make money selling high resolution pictures! Now the Nokia N97 is said to have resolution of 16:9 DVD quality video capture and from what I read, the mobile phone supports Share on Ovi services for immediate sharing over HSDPA and WLAN.
Now who would want to buy a mobile phone during recession? Why would Nokia launched N97 during this time where most manufacturers are battling for attention in an increasingly competitive environment? I guess the answer is Nokia had carefully planned this launching and thorough judgement has been made to ensure its sale. From what I see, smartphone vendors and wireless carriers around the world have been revamping everything from the mobile phones look and feel to their software and hardware in a heated race to attract end users. In other words, I think Nokia is absolutely ready to grab its own share from the whole mobile phone market with this latest product.
The new N97 from Nokia is said to be shipped in the first half of 2009 and since it is built on the previous Nokia 5800’s features, it is going to mark the latest in a steady stream of N series devices that Nokia has been introducing into the US and European markets this year. Look at the screen, it’s a 3.5-inch widescreen display which can be personalized with widgets and quick icon access to social networking services. Just like the Nokia 5800, this new N97 mobile phone supports Nokia’s Music Store and also Adobe Flash. Flash? This is something that iPhone continues to lack!
In my humble opinion, Nokia is so far the leading mobile phone manufacturer in the world. It keeps on producing innovative and creative product and so far no one could actually deny that fact. Having said that, I am not against any other mobile phone as myself is not using Nokia mobile phone. I'm using local product mobile phone as my preferences are more to what a phone should do; call and SMS. If you are looking for a prepaid mobile phone that is packed with various functions, then this Nokia N97 could be your best option available.
Talking about prepaid mobile phone, a lot of users nowadays prefer to use this plan a lot more are considering on switching the mobile plan. From what I heard, many had also switched to other port like Digi. Well this is a good progress! As a user of prepaid mobile phone myself, I love to see what's next as now we have more and more options and most of them are towards benefiting us from using it. Though last time I used to think to switch to post-paid plan, I kept myself analyzing the advantages and the cons to it. And I've come to a conclusion that prepaid mobile phone plan would be my choice until now. Perhaps until some phone carriers start to promote or introduce a standard contract-based plan that is better in service and have more value-added services.
Let's go back at what I wrote last time in my recent posts such as how to call india from your prepaid mobile phones. I have told you in the post how many people from India country have come and work here in Malaysia. What I'm going to say here might surprise you guys. Do you know that our community here that are using prepaid mobile phones are too small compared to what they have there at India? Yes I read somewhere that everyday thousands if not ten thousands people in India registered themselves to use prepaid mobile phones! This is perhaps another one good reason why you should switch to prepaid plan. That figure itself is and indicator that people prefer to use prepaid mobile phones.
Well maybe some would say that the prepaid mobile phone plan is only suitable for those with low income. I beg to differ though because I know a lot of rich people chose to use prepaid mobile phone plan as the plans are far more conceivable for them in terms of saving money. Like I told you before, using prepaid mobile phone plan means you are the king. You control everything. You have the choice not to top up your phone whenever you do not feel like it. You also have the choice to activate as many value-added services as you want. You will also have the chance to subscribe to anything that is offered by the particular phone service provider.
There is one thing that I don't fancy much about one of the prepaid mobile phone service providers available in Malaysia. I hate it each time I received promotion or any kind of gift sent through SMS. I just don't like it. Just like email spam, I hate seeing the message all over my SMS inbox. I tend to delete them each time I receive the SMS. Yes maybe some of them are good for us if we want to purchase or subscribe but most of the time are just promotion on caller ringtones. Why would I want to be reminded about where to go and purchase ABBA ringtones? And unfortunately there is no where in the message that tells us how we can opt not to receive that kind of promotion.
Ah just forget about that. Maybe the prepaid mobile phone provider had actually put that somewhere in any clause in their terms and conditions the day I subscribed to the plan. But I have to agree that prepaid mobile phone is really is a lucrative business. People subscribe to the prepaid mobile phone plan, people purchase ringtones and caller ringtones, people activated all kinds of value-added services like "Teman 20" or "Maxis Active10", people sharing their credit or airtime, and so on. If I were the provider, I'll do the same thing lol. What drives all this services to keep on being improvised is always money.
Let's talk about t-mobile prepaid mobile plan. Last time I talked about how to switch your t-mobile phone and retain your prepaid plan. In the future I will make a post about the latest development in T-Mobile G1 Android which has integrated Google nicely into it. It seems like this year looks set to be a vintage one for sophisticated hand-held devices and smartphones, with Nokia and Google/T-1 seeking to challenge Apple's iPhone and the fast-growing BlackBerry range. I have also read somewhere about the t mobile sidekick mobile phone. I'm still doing some research on it before I can actually post something useful for you guys.
I do have something that I want to confess here. In the future I will try to restrain myself from making any kind of Mymode prepaid promotion. I have far more important thing to do apart from selling prepaid cards and making money from it. I'm not saying that I'm not anymore selling it, it just that I have a new mission now in making money online and I believe I can actually make a lot of money from it. I will share my experience in the future.
I have something else that I want to share here. Recently I came across a magazine. I thought it's just another cheap-in-quality mobile phone magazine. But when i went through it, I have to say that it's a good magazine. It's called Mobile World. I will make a post about this magazine in the future due to the fact that it's a good resource for all of us. Though it's a Malaysian mobile phone magazine, still it is a good resource for anyone around the world. No, I didn't make any money from promoting this magazine, it's just that I feel it's good to share something that is worth reading it. Value for money, value for knowledge.
In short, counting down to 2009 would be an interesting thing to do for me as more and more new mobile phones are coming along the way. The competition is tighter than ever and I just can't imagine what else would come in the near future. If last time we used to think that iPhone is the pinnacle of mobile phone industry, now we know that there is a lot more coming. More for us actually. Now before I stop here, let's take a look at one of the first telephone created about 112 years ago and this one is from Sweden. Telephone? Yes they called it telephone...;-)

Why You Should Switch to Prepaid Mobile Phones Plan
advantages and benefits
It seems like the usage of prepaid mobile phones plans is becoming more and more popular particularly in the United States and I believe that this can be considered as a healthy progression. Many have little or perhaps no knowledge at all about the benefits of using prepaid mobile phone and the power behind using the service. This could be due to previously in the United States most telecommunication companies chose to only promote contract-based mobile phone plans. To some extent, I can affirmatively say that it is a smart move to switch from using contract-based plans to prepaid plans as they have a lot of advantages especially if you are not a fond user of mobile phone.
Now let us look into the matter a bit deeper whether it is time to say goodbye to standard mobile phone plans and hello to prepaid mobile plans. As for me, money-saving is my first priority and this could be the first thing that you consider as well when looking for the right mobile phones plan. I choose to stand my belief that when you use prepaid mobile phones plans, you tend to save more as it is very economical due to there is no contract whatsoever between us and the prepaid phone service carrier. More service providers are coming into the scene and the competition amongst them are getting higher and higher and as a result, we receive the advantages. More cheap plans are now available for us to choose from and we do not have to worry about falling into trap of getting free mobile phones anymore.
Do you provide your kids and teens cell phones? Then perhaps it is time to choose the right plan and I recommend you to choose prepaid mobile phone plans. The monthly bills towards having a mobile communication at your dispense with a lower rate are not anymore a dream but a reality. Prepaid mobile phone plans allow you to set a certain amount of minutes that your child can use in a month and for once, you don’t have to worry about paying unnecessary extra bucks just to keep the line active. Furthermore, with prepaid plans it is easy for you as well as for your kids to just go to any stores like Target and purchase the top up phone card with reload codes on it.
Contrary to popular belief, there is a small risk when you use prepaid mobile phone plan. Most of the plans available charge you at least a three seconds billing whenever you made a call that was not answered. Each normal block is around six seconds and you will be charged based on this system. So you have to take extra care while using prepaid mobile phones and honestly, this is perhaps the best time to start educating yourself and your family about restricting the call usage. There are also few prepaid plans that can cost you a lot of money simply to activate them. In other words, you have to choose carefully and it is best to make a thorough comparison first before you decide which is the best plan for you and your family.
I believe that some of us may not know what the heck is top up phone card and what does it mean by “reloading” your mobile phones. Well the concept is simple actually as prepaid service works completely different from the standard contract-based mobile plan. When you purchase your first prepaid mobile phone, you will pay for the activation fees only though there are some plans that offer you free airtime of certain amount when you use their services. Say for example the one you bought does not offer that, so it means you have to reload your mobile phone. Reloading is simple as what you need to have is a “reload code” or a top up code. This can be purchased from retail stores like Walmart. For instance, you bought a 10 dollar prepaid reload card and you just have to enter the code and voila! Your phone will be reloaded with a $10 value of airtime.
Airtime is a set number of minutes provided by the mobile phone service provider and this is how the game is played. Whenever the minutes get exhausted, you need to top it up and again you have to buy the reload phone cards. To me, this is quite convenient. I just have to calculate how much I normally spend in a month, say $30, then I just buy some cards and keep them until the time I need to reload my mobile phone. Hey I don’t have to be surprised anymore about getting a silly mobile phone bill where I used to have to pay over-budgeted amount to phone service provider simply because I was unaware that my minutes were exhausted.
Yes it is unfair sometimes when you think about how some mobile phone companies trick you into this unwanted event. Imagine how much you have wasted simply to pay absurd fees and underhanded tactics that most contract mobile phone providers use. Perhaps that is the reason the new wave has come and I can say that almost 70% of people are now using prepaid mobile phones plans. Why not? With prepaid mobile phone plan, you know exactly what is expected from you in the first place.
Since when you choose to abide by a horseshit contract for your mobile phones? I bet that you have used it for quite a long time till now. And have you ever faced problems with using the services? Sure you had and I bet that most of the time you could only shut yourself up whenever they refer to the contract quotes by quotes. Now tell me, if you have the chance not to be abided by contracts apart from some normal terms and conditions which all products have, and you control everything from spending to everything, would you choose it? If you would, then I prove it to you that it is way better to switch to prepaid mobile phone plans.
With the development of mobile number portability (MNP), it is easy for you to switch from any prepaid mobile phone plan to another network or plan. The best part is you do not have to pay much for it and the transaction only takes few hours. So whenever you don’t feel like the company is giving you a good service or if the reception is not that good, you can just switch in a heartbeat; something you can never do with the usual plan. Well technically yes you can switch, but when it comes to paying hundreds of dollars simply for switching purposes, would you switch or cancel your mobile phone plan then?
I guess it is about time to think more of your expenses especially during this time of economic depression. Think more about other needs than paying phone bills. With prepaid plans, you will learn to control your call usage and honestly it is easy to control. Everything has been predetermined where you don’t have to worry about paying more than what you use. Do not fall into traps of paying something more than what you use. For instance, would you choose to pay $100 a month for 20 new magazines when you can only read up to 5 each month? Hey you still have to pay $100 no matter you read all of them or not. So why not pay only $25 for five magazines which you can finish up reading all of them? In short, you will get more from the minimum rather than just have the maximum but you can’t utilize all of them.
I must say that prepaid mobile phones plan is the right deal as you will be the king when you use it. You get the freedom to spend as much as you want or as low as you want. No one is going to stop you and no mobile phone service carrier will stop you too. You know for fact that all the airtime you paid for will be put to good use. No more worries about letting the wireless mobile phone company take your precious money with force or dirty tactics. No more hidden costs and no more playing by their rules. We should play by our own rules as we are the one who decide what we want and how we want it. Take all your ample time to think and finally decide on which prepaid moble phones plans is the best deal for you and which suits you the most. Remember, by now you should know by heart that prepaid mobile phones plans have many benefits over standard contract-based plans.

Some people mentioned about using one of the Ebay's services where you can enter your desired zip code to find the coverage. Therefore I am going to share you one site that does give you specific and accurate information about your t-mobile coverage. This site is called T-Mobile Personal Coverage Check.

Prepaid Mobile Phones
pay-as-you-go or prepaid wireless cellphone plan
There are many good reasons why most people nowadays choose to stay with prepaid mobile phones. It is a lot easier actually to deal with prepaid contract as it is all up to you to continue or discontinue the service. The utility is provided to you on a short term basis, in other words you are the boss. If you do not feel like it, you can always switch between networks and retain the mobile phone numbers. You can also choose to let the service expire on its own and you do not have to worry of the consequences. This is perhaps the most acceptable reason why pay-as-you-go cellphone plan became a hit when it is first introduced (if I am not mistaken it was somewhere around 1993). Nevertheless, we need to first define what does it mean by prepaid plan and what makes it such a difference with standard contract plans. We will also try to analyze the concept behind the plans and perhaps we can compare which plan is the best bet to go with.
Let's us start with defining the term "prepaid mobile phone". Oh yes before that I should tell you that it may surprise you that pay as you go mobile phone plans are not that popular in the United States but they are rapidly gaining steam there. I will tell you why that is later. Prepaid services are more popular throughout Europe and asean countries. Ok sorry about that let us go back to our discussion. Prepaid mobile phone is best defined if I explain about the standard plan. Yes standard plans are well-known in the US as they actually involve a mandatory long-term contract, normally between one or two years. As far as I am concern, the monthly fees range from $20 to $35 dollars. With that price, you should get somewhere around 300 minutes of airtime. More can be purchased for higher fees though. Mind you though that contract-based plans are available for purchases only if you have a credit card.
Prepaid mobile phone on the other hand is completely different in terms of pricing model and also value added services. With prepaid mobile phone, you are not bound to any contract. You can terminate the service at anytime or you can just let it expires if you change your mind about the service. You can say goodbye to the typical fine or penalty of $100 dollars or £30 that comes with boring contract-based plans. Though they have some benefits like free weekends and evening calling that do not count towards your alloted minutes, they are not that attractive to those who do not really into communicating through cellphones such as me. I rarely use my cell and I only spend about 60 to 90 minutes on the phone.
A user can add more credit to the pre paid account at any time by topping up the account. This can be done either through a credit or debit card transaction with the carrier (performed on the phone itself using text instruction or via a third party such as a shop or ATM) or by purchasing a plastic phone card which you can get at retail store such as Target. The top-up card is stamped with a unique code (often under a scratch-off panel) which can be redeemed on the phone for credit. Credit for a prepaid mobile phone may have a time limit, for example 90 days from the date the last credit was added. In these cases, customers who do not add more credit before expiration will lose their remaining balance, and their service (and its associated phone number) may be discontinued.
Prepaid wireless phones are better than long-term contract phone plans since they are really flexible. You do not need to have a credit card to obtain it and this is why it has gaining a lot of interests from teenagers who lack credit cards. You can just purchase the phone card from the market which is like giving the carrier money towards your account. However you must first purchase a cellphone made to use with prepaid mobile phones plan. The phone needs to be made for the carrier you will be using and please hang on as we will discuss about that in a moment.
Most people are allured to prepaid mobile phone plans due to our human instinct have long been telling us to not to be bound by anything and a long-term blood s*cking phone contract is definitely one of them in the top list. For instance, if you go over your airtime allocation you will likely be charged a premium rate for each additional minute. If you do not use all your minutes they normally do not roll over where you just lose them and start over the following month. There are though certain carriage service providers that have started to learn to take into account changing monthly habits by offering flexible mobile phones plan. There are also those that offers rollover feature, but overall many carriers have their own combination of features to choose from. These plans sometimes can present so many options and contingencies that some people can find it quite confusing; another reason to stay away from standard plans.
Another point why I prefer to use prepaid cellphone is because I do not have to deal with credit issue. Yes this is also why other people did the same thing. Most contract-based plan require you to have good credit records. In other words, if you are a good paymaster and you love using fancy and sophisticated phones, you can go ahead and subscribe with standard contract-based plans. I simply do not go for it, as there is possibility that in the future I change my mind about using the product and by the time it would be too late. Switching or terminating the contract before the due date would mean I have to pay for the penalty.
I hope that I have managed to give you a clear crystal view of what prepaid mobile phones are and how it works. Now we can start comparing the pricing models for individual plans, family plans, and also business plans. Another fact that I want to share with you guys is that almost two thirds of all mobile phone accounts worldwide are pay as you go plans. In fact, the numbers can go even more if prepaid plans can be introduced earlier since long time ago when prepaid cellphones were first introduced, the underlying products were hairpin solutions meaning that it took two extra dedicated trunks on the cellular switch to make one call, one for the inbound connection to the telephony platform and the second back to the switch to complete the call. Trunks used to be an expensive resource back in the early days and hence carriers chose to stick with postpaid plans.
As I mentioned before, for users to use prepaid mobile phones, they must first purchase the right phone. T-Mobile phones are leading brands in the UK and I believe it is catching up in the US market lately. Let us take a look at certain packages offered by T-Mobile in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of this analysis, I am going to choose the most expensive pay as you go plan from T-Mobile in the UK. The phone for this plan is Sony Ericsson W880i that comes in silver colour. The price is £99.99 and this slim, sexy 3G mobile phone is superbly fast when accessing internet using "web'n'walk". This phone is definitely the choice for those who love phones and advanced technology items (not for me though lol). Now that we have selected our phone, take a look at the plan where it only cost you 10p per text. You will also get a free reward every time you top up and you can always get a cheaper rate when you need to call your friends or family abroad. These are called Boosters and Passes and once you have chose your phone and plan, you get just purchase it online. Bear in mind though that there are delivery cost as well when you purchase it online, so make sure you check everything first before you make any payment.
The cheapest one from t mobile UK is KP100 phone model from LG. When you buy this prepaid cell phone, you can top up £10 and get another £10 free from T-Mobile. Your airtime can go longer with Booster value added feature and later you can just checkout and with this phone, it only costs you £16.98 to activate and you can start using the phone. There is also an option for you to upgrade your phone plans. I will also discuss about this in my next post. I am particularly fond with the new T-Mobile G1 which has three different set of navigation options.
Now let us go to the United States. In here, there are two popular pay-as-you-go companies and they are Virgin Mobile and Verizon Wireless. If you want to use Virgin Mobile for instance you will need a Virgin Mobile prepaid mobile phone. If you do not have a credit card or do not want to use it, you should also purchase a phone card for that carrier. They cost you anywhere from $20 up, and are just plastic calling phone cards used to add credit to your account. Signing up after purchasing the cellphone is so easy that you just have to call the provider's number which is supposed to be listed in the mobile phone manual. When you reach the representative, he or she will request from you the serial number printed on the phone in order to assign it to your mobile prepaid number. Some providers may automatically credit you with free airtime bonus simply by signing up with them. If this is not the case, then you can always reload it using the top up card. Again, it is much safer to use prepaid mobile phones since you do not have to provide any confidential information apart from the serial number!
It will be great if I can just continue from here but I guess the time is up. I will though post another one as soon as possible so we can proceed with our discussion about prepaid mobile phones and its advantages. Pardon me, I have forgotten to tell you one great benefits of using pay as you go phone. Do you know that with this type of plan you do not have to worry if you have passed the expiry date and you still have credit balance in your account? Because you can always buy a phone card and reload your mobile phone and guess what, the balance will accumulate! You will never lose those airtime and I therefore I find this as quite a generous plan.
There are also few disadvantages of using prepaid mobile phones but relatively you still save your money more when you use it, rather than paying ongoing billings to telecommunication providers. The call rate and texting may cost you slightly higher than normal postpaid plan.
I will talk more of other great and wonderful prepaid mobile phones plans in the next post. Until then, I hope that you will enjoy a great weekend.

Can you make money from using Maxis Hotlink prepaid?
If you are a long time user of Hotlink, then I believe you have more than the knowledge on how Maxis charges you for anything and everything. Why waste the money for things you do not really need when you can actually earn money from it? You may not be as rich as Ananda Krishnan, the owner of Maxis Malaysia, but at least you can earn some money from all the telcos though you stick with Maxis Hotlink. What if I use Celcom Xpax?
I know that sometimes you don't have the courage to try switching from one service to another. You might say that you are not sure about the advantages of other phone plans or network. Frankly say, that unsure feeling is just something you developed inside you due to successful marketing strategy from Celcom. Either using Celcom Xpax or Blue, it won't matter and you don't have to worry much if you plan to switch to Hotlink or Digi. Remember, at this time the cost to change or transfer is still free and therefore take advantage of that. Change and try it for a month and then you can always change back to your original provider. However, as far as money is concern, go for package that offers you lower call rates and that will absolutely help you to earn more money when you join Mymode.Senarai Nombor Telefon Ejen Mymode Prepaid|Mymode Agents Cell Phone Numbers
